About Us
My name is Jay Miller, I am the creator of Medshark. I have been a RN for 12 years, with experience in critical care and med/surg. I was working one night when I heard two travel nurses discussing their agencies. One of them offered to connect the other with their recruiter. This made me think about how frequently healthcare providers are changing agencies or leaving staff positions to start traveling.
I then did some research on the referral bonuses being offered to travel nurses. Agency nurses as well as physicians, respiratory therapists, PT/OT etc. can receive extra money through referral bonus sharing. Medshark was built over the next months to help travel nurses and other healthcare professionals make as much money as possible!
Problem/Solution
Most nursing agencies offer a referral bonus for bringing in new travel nurses, frequently travel nurses are finding and signing up for the positions without referral. Therefore, these nurses, physicians, therapists etc. are missing out on the referral bonus money.

The process is very simple. Click the get started button and fill out the form. I will confirm that you meet the requirements for receiving a referral bonus. Then I will refer you to the agency or hospital.

Each agency has slightly different requirements and therefore each application will have to be personally reviewed. After the application form is submitted, I will review to make sure you meet the requirements.

Agencies vary on how much of a contract must be completed before the referral bonus is paid. Medshark must receive the payment before your referral bonus will be paid out.
